Eternal summer on the sunny coast

The Costa del Sol is located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Mijas mountain and is part of hot and beautiful Andalusia. Rautuki-Säätiö's apartments are in an area called Riviera del Sol. You can find it on the map when you follow the coastline from Fuengirola in the direction of Marbella. The cities of the Sun Coast are close to each other, so it is easy to visit several cities on the same trip. More than 300 sunny days a year guarantee a warm visit no matter what time you go. It is about 300 m to the beach.

Direct flights from Helsinki to Malaga are offered by Finnair and Norwegian.

The exchange day is Friday. Check-in at 4:00 p.m. and handover at 11:00 a.m.

Car rental company Autokatti

The distance from the airport to the destination is 35 km.

  • Easiest way: Rent a car from our partner Autokatti, and you will get the apartment key and car conveniently at the same time. If you rent a car from Autokatti, Autokatti will pick you up directly from the airport and hand over the keys at its office.
  • The destination can be reached by taxi for around 60 euros.
  • From the airport, you can also travel by train to Fuengirola, from where you can continue by bus. You can find train timetables here and bus timetables from here.

Memo list for the holidays

Before the holidays
  • Exchange day is Friday. Check-in at 4:00 p.m. and handover at 11:00 a.m.
  • The apartment has to be accessed by stairs (for people with reduced mobility).
  • Inform the number of guests on the reservation form. (bed linen available depending on the number of guests)
  • Please leave your pets at home for the holidays.
On holiday
  • If you arrive earlier than your reservation starts, you give the cleaner time to work.
  • Please respect the other residents of the housing association (silence between 22:00 and 08:00).
  • Bring your own towels to the beach.
  • Smaller cabinets work as safes. (larger ones don't work)
  • Share your holiday vibes on Instagram #rautuki and on Facebook on the rautuki foundation's website.
